How to use this guide
The tabs on the left side will lead you to specific resources.
The Books, eBooks, Videos tab is pretty straightforward, it includes a few examples of these items available through our library.
The Reserves for Sociology Courses tab is a list of textbooks and supplementary materials for use in the learning commons.
The Articles and Journals tab has a list of databases best for finding articles and journals (you can even limit to peer-reviewed).
The Websites tab has an evaluation method for determining if information found is good for academic work.
The Citation Guide tab will help you give credit to the sources you use for your research and academic writing, there are word templates for each citation style, a link to guides for each citation style, and a link to the RefWorks citation manager tool.
