DIY Your Halloween

Halloween is upon us!  Did you know that your FRCC library has lots of materials for you to check-out online to help you DIY your own celebration. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Looking to host a scary good Halloween party and need some recipe ideas?  Here are a few ideas from Good Housekeeping Magazine and People Magazine (a host of popular magazines can be found in our online collection)!
  • Or maybe you would rather watch a horror movie. The movie titles on our streaming service, Kanopy change frequently. Right now, they are offering The Hills Have Eyes by horror master Wes Craven (Scream & Nightmare on Elm Stream) and Suspiria by Italian horror film director Dario Argento.  Titles may change throughout the month.
  • Do you have old sweaters that you would like to upcycle?  You can use you sewing skills to turn them into super-cute pumpkins. Or, maybe you are hosting a party and want to have a Halloween Pinata or a cool Mummy Hand Centerpiece?  You can find eBooks and articles with craft ideas in our databases, too.

We hope these ideas have rattled your bones into checking out what the FRCC libraries have to offer you.  To access the Front Range Community College Library from home, you will be asked to enter your S# and password.  Ask your librarian if you have any questions.
