College Success Resources: Library Resources

Check Out Passes

You can check out passes for admission to a variety of Pueblo museums and Colorado locations! Just bring your student ID and you can check out the pass like you would a book.

Passes are available for checkout at the Pueblo Campus Library for currently enrolled students only. Passes permit free entry to numerous Pueblo museums, the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center, Pueblo Zoo, and Colorado State Parks

El Movimiento

El Movimiento is a museum exhibit on permanent loan from the El Pueblo museum. This exhibit documents the Chicano freedom movement in Colorado and Pueblo through the voices of the people who organized, marched, and worked hard for justice.

You can take a self-guided tour during the PCC Library's open hours.

Public Library Resources

The PCC Library is a satellite branch of the Pueblo City-County Library District. Regardless of which PCC campus you attend, you can sign up for a public library card for access to streaming media, eBooks, and test prep.

You can also talk to librarians at these and other local libraries to find books and more:

More about Research

Research is:

  • Asking questions and investigating that topic to learn more about it.
  • A cycle. As we move through the stages of the research process we may have to repeat steps we completed earlier.
  • Fun! Especially if you choose a topic that interests you and allow yourself the needed time to research, write, and cite.

Learn more on the How to Research module in the Library Classroom.

As you go through your classes, you will use different Resource Guides that will help you with research. You can find them under Resource Guides in the Library Classroom.
