Behavioral Health Resources

Scholarly sources are resources written by academic experts or scholars in a particular field. These sources undergo an editing process called peer-review, during which other subject experts read and evaluate the author's work to verify the information and suggest corrections.

In psychology, there are two main types of scholarly sources: primary and secondary. Primary sources demonstrate and explain original research, including studies and experiments conducted by the author(s). Secondary sources analyze other studies or research in psychology to discuss applications or meaning. Examples of secondary sources include reviews, analyses, and discussions.

Search the individual databases under the "Find Articles" tab to the left to find both Primary and Secondary sources.  You can search all of CCA's databases by using the "Search Here" box.
