Library Instruction Initiatives

Instruction librarians play a pivotal role in today's academic landscape, bridging the gap between information seekers and the vast resources available. Guided by the Association of College & Research (ACRL) Libraries Framework for Information Literacy, we empower students and researchers to navigate the complexities of scholarly inquiry and the information landscape with confidence.

Through collaborative teaching, we cultivate critical thinking, information evaluation, and ethical use of information among learners. Our work ensures that individuals not only find information effectively but also understand its context and implications, equipping students and researchers to thrive in an information-rich world.

Our goal is to empower students not just to find information, but to understand and apply it effectively, preparing them for lifelong learning and informed decision-making.
