"[Artificial Intelligence] is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs. It is related to the similar task of using computers to understand human intelligence, but AI does not have to confine itself to methods that are biologically observable." - Professor John McCarthy, What is Artificial Intelligence? (2007) pg. 2
Generative AI is AI that is capable of creating, or generating, different works. Some can produce various types of writing, some can create images, some are chatbots that we can interact with to brainstorm/learn/or improve our work.
Every week, the Hub sends out an AI Digest -- reviews of AI tools, thoughts on using AI, discussions of relevant AI conversations, and recaps of AI Professional Development we offer.
Visit the archives of the AI Digest on Substack or email Allyson Turner to be added to the mailing list.
