Hi, welcome to the Educational Technology Guide. This guide will display information related to Educational Technology at CCA. If you are interested in joining our committee, please email Mollee March.

 

For technical issues with MyCourses D2L, please email onlinelearning.cca@ccaurora.edu to generate a ticket. When sending your email, be sure to include your S#, the course in which you are encountering your issue, and as much detail as possible. This ticket system is for instructors, faculty, and staff only. Please do not direct students to email this address; direct them to call the D2L Helpdesk (888-800-9198).

Update Your Mapped Drives

How to update your mapped drives (Windows 🪟)

 

If you are on campus:

  • The first time you log in after this change, if you are on campus, your mapped drives and H: drive may have already updated using the login script that IT has put in place.
  • If your drives are not accessible, first please reboot your computer and check again.
  • If your drives are not accessible after rebooting your computer, please open the following link: \\CCADFS01.ccc.ccofc.edu\gpdeploy$\SelfService then double-click on the MapDrives file. This will take 1-2 minutes to run.
  • Close and re-open any copies of File Explorer that you had open.
  • If you still have trouble after following the above steps, please contact the IT department and we will assist you as quickly as possible.

 

If you are working remotely:

  • First, you must connect to VPN.
  • After you are connected to VPN, please open the following link: \\CCADFS01.ccc.ccofc.edu\gpdeploy$\SelfService then double-click on the MapDrives file. This will take 1-2 minutes to run.
  • Close and re-open any copies of File Explorer that you had open.
  • If you still have trouble after following the above steps, please contact the IT department and we will assist you as quickly as possible.

 

Notes

 

  • If it is important to you for a certain shared drive to be mapped to a specific drive letter (e.g., S:, Q:, etc), and it has changed to a different letter in the migration, you may manually disconnect it and re-map it using your desired drive letter. The IT team can assist you with this if needed.
