Sometimes getting started on a book report can be difficult. You might want to take a look at what others had to say about the book. Many of the library's databases include journal articles, including book reviews. Below are some suggested databases that are more likely to have history book reviews and other historical research.

You can search by a book title in Academic Search Premier to find book reviews of that title:

Example Book Review in a Scholarly Journal

A book review article is likely to start with the citation of the book, followed by a few paragraphs about the book's content, quality, and how it fits into the scholarship around the topic.
