Celebrate Halloween at the BCC Library by checking out one (or several) scary books and DVDs. Say hello to the dead princess skeleton and get some free candy. Don't worry, the skeleton doesn't bite.
Celebrate your freedom to read at the BCC Library by checking out various books that have been banned in other parts of the United States. Don't worry, the BCC Library has your back and wants you to read what you're curious about. Knowledge is power! Come stop by and tell the librarian what you want to see in the library's collection.
What is a banned book? A banned book is a book that has been removed from the library because an individual, or a group of individuals, disagrees with the views/ideas presented in a book and does not want these views to be portrayed in a library/bookstore. They believe these views are explicit in nature and does not want others to be offended like themselves.
It is up to the individual reader to decide what they should read, NOT others.
Come check out what's new at the BCC Library. This shelf is constantly changing and there's always something new to grab your attention!
Need a break to recharge your batteries? Try this 1000-piece puzzle. Please bring your friends (and tell them to bring their friends) because this is a hard one!
Still looking for a break and not a fan of puzzles? Come check out these art supplies and draw your worries away.

One scanner is also available on one of the Windows computers.

Check out this D2L course designed by an FRCC librarian that includes library instruction resources that will improve your information literacy skills; a fancy term that describes one's ability to “recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information.” (American Library Association, Presidential Committee on Information Literacy)
